The Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA), Japan International Dispute Resolution Centre (JIDRC) and the University of Miami School of Law and the Miami International Arbitration Society (MIAS) are organizing a two-part webinar series on International Arbitration focused on Japan, the U.S. and the Americas.

In this second segment representatives of Japanese international dispute resolution organizations, experts in international arbitration and mediation, and Florida lawyers will jointly introduce “Japan’s Contact Points in the Americas” to companies and lawyers doing business in the U.S. and Latin America from three main touchpoints: 1) the influence of the Japanese economy and international arbitration cases by Japanese companies, 2) the growth of international arbitration, mediation and other ADR, and 3) the developing capacity through a Miami – Japan connection in this field.

As this is a webinar aimed at the U.S. side, the hour to participate from Japan will be late in the evening, so questions will be accepted in advance and a recording of the webinar will be made available.
